Providing Networking Opportunities
STAF provides a great opportunity to network with facilitators, learning from each other with ideas that lead to improvement in the safety cultures at all of our member sites.
Conducting Annual Conferences
The STAF Team organizes an annual single day Safety conference that features a dynamic key note speaker along with session topics on informative and relevant topics.
Developing Strong Facilitators
We aide in easing the process of communicating, problem solving, decision making and team management for new and seasoned facilitators.
Promoting Safety
We believe that "Safety Culture" is the attitude, beliefs, perceptions and values that employees share in relation to safety in the workplace. Safety culture is a part of organizational culture, and has been described by the phrase "the way we do things around here".
Analyzing Common Issues
The STAF Team meets monthly to network and share better practices that address issues that are common to general industry and the petrochemical field. By analyzing safety data and promoting cultural changes, our group works to improve overall site safety.
Sharing Ideas
Committee members share their best techniques, strategies, and experiences for the promotion of safety. This provides fast solutions for issues that may be incurring at the work sites.
